Tim & Cathy Vilinskis start TC Homebuilding
Tim & Cathy are longtime residents of Ridgefield, CT and graduates of the University of Connecticut. This new homebuilding venture is the culmination of decades of Tim's homebuilding experience and Cathy's real estate law experience. Their goal is to provide exceptionally well-designed and well-built homes for whatever stage of life you are in, whether a new, growing family or empty nesters or somewhere in between.
Homebuilding Journey Began 38 Years Ago
Tim, his brother Jeff, and father Gunars formed 3V Development Corp in 1986. With well over 100 homes built in the Hudson Valley, 3V Development earned a reputation for both quality and integrity.

Advocacy
As a homebuilder and developer, Tim has been very concerned about balancing the need to build more housing while preserving the natural environment and character of our beautiful communities. In 2000 he founded the Hudson Valley Smart Growth Alliance along with Scenic Hudson to explore better ways of building. His advocacy continues to this day with a series of Op-Ed's in the Connecticut Examiner arguing for zoning reform that facilitates the construction of much needed lower-cost housing that respects the scale, context, and beauty of our communities. He is also a member of the Ridgefield Affordable Housing Committee.
